Compassion first
Your feelings, context, and hopes belong in the conversation.
My journey to growing my family was eight years long and filled with more twists, turns, and emotions than I ever could have imagined. During those years, my husband and I navigated cycle monitoring, six IUIs, two rounds of IVF, and the heartbreaking loss of five babies through four miscarriages. After years of trying to grow our family through fertility treatments, our path eventually led us to adoption, and in 2024, we were incredibly fortunate to grow our family through adoption. Through every part of our journey, I experienced firsthand how overwhelming family-building can become—the appointments, waiting, questions, decisions, hope, grief, and uncertainty about what comes next. I also learned that the path to growing a family doesn't always unfold the way we first imagined it would. Those experiences became the heart behind Rooted Hope. I wanted to create a space where others navigating fertility awareness, trying to conceive, fertility treatment, or the beginning stages of adoption could feel informed, heard, and genuinely supported. While every person's journey is uniquely their own, my experience has shaped the way I listen, educate, and support others as they navigate theirs. Rooted Hope is more than a name. It represents what carried me through my own journey and what I hope to offer others—a place to feel grounded in knowledge and support while still holding space for hope, wherever your path to growing your family may lead. One of the most difficult parts of my own journey was feeling like I had very few people who truly understood what I was going through. I didn’t have family or friends who had travelled a similar path to growing their family, and although the people around me cared deeply, they couldn’t always understand the appointments, treatments, waiting, losses, uncertainty, and emotions that came with it. At times, that left me feeling as though I was navigating much of the journey without the kind of support I truly needed. That experience became an important part of why I created Rooted Hope. I want to offer others the support I often wished I had—a place where you can talk openly, ask questions, feel heard, and know that you don’t have to navigate every part of your family-building journey on your own.
